Carlie's birthday is coming up so Mom wanted me to take a picture of her, Dad and Brew by the tulips to send to her.  While taking pictures, this happened and I'm so glad I got it on camera.  Haha...this pretty much sums up how they each feel about Brew.

We have a porch covering now.  It took long enough, but we're pretty happy about it.  Scout is REALLY happy about it, because now he has shade!  :)

Spent practically ALL DAY finishing my EAS paperwork for work.  I can't believe I'm almost done with my first year teaching!

Carlee Petersen's wedding cake.  This was our first buttercream wedding cake.  I seriously don't know what I'll do when Megan leaves.  We ALWAYS make our cakes together.  Pretty sure I'll have to just go on a cake hiatus while she's gone.

Lunch date with Mom, Megan, Grandma and Aunt Sue.  I love my family so much.  My family is better than yours.  I'm sorry, but they are.

Dresser remodel #2.  I'm excited to see this finished project.  I've got big plans for this dresser.

The flowers and balloon Dave got me "just because".  We laughed and laughed about that balloon.  He said he saw it at the store and just had to get it.  I think it's funny because the roses are all romantic, but the balloon really lets me know that it's from Dave.  "You're the Greatest!"  Such a cheesy thing to put on a balloon.  I'm glad we have the same sense of humor.

Happy 5 year anniversary to us!  It was a very low key anniversary (as you can see).  Here we are in our family room (yes, I'm in sweats.  Super attractive, I know!)  We're not really into going "all out" for anniversaries.  We don't do flowers, gifts, fancy dinners, etc.  It's just not us.  We had decided to go to The Pizza Factory for dinner and about two minutes after ordering I said to Dave "Let's just order it to go."  Dave and I are definitely home bodies, and on most occasions we prefer to be home rather than go out.  So we celebrated our anniversary "our way".  At home, in our pajama's.  We're so awesome.

Carlie's best friend Carlee is getting married.  We're so sad that Carlie is going to miss the wedding, but we're so happy for Carlee (Those two were seriously inseparable growing up).  Her bridal shower was tonight and Megan and I seriously had so much fun at it!  I'm so lame, but I just LOVE my parents neighborhood.  I consider most of the women in that neighborhood to be some of my dear friends, so it's fun to see them every now and then.  Congratulations Carlee!

We had Dave's fam over for dinner tonight.  They're pretty much Scout's favorite people ever.  When they left, he ran out of the house and jumped into their car so he could go home with them.  :)  Poor Scout was not very happy when we made him come back inside.

I'm on Spring Break right now and IT IS AWESOME!!  You know how when you're in college, and spring break isn't really spring break because you're bombarded with homework and such?  I'm liking THIS spring break much better!  I spent the day with my Mom shopping for fabric.  I'm making a new quilt for our bedroom.
